Dr. Erik Stapleton is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, specializing in advanced orthopedic care for patients throughout Beckley, the Greenbrier Valley, and Southern West Virginia. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, where he served as an assistant team physician for Merrimack College and the Boston Celtics. Dr. Stapleton is passionate about providing the Greenbrier Valley with the same level of specialist care found at major academic medical centers — while keeping that care local, personal, and accessible.

Jennifer Greenlief, BSN, RN
Clinical Nurse Manager
Jennifer brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to Elite Orthopedics, with a background spanning perioperative nursing, surgical services, healthcare operations, and clinical leadership.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Charleston and has spent much of her career working alongside surgeons, nurses, healthcare teams, and patients.
At Elite Orthopedics, Jennifer oversees clinical operations while helping connect the many pieces of a patient's orthopedic journey. Her focus is creating efficient systems behind the scenes while making sure patients never feel like they are simply moving through a system.
She believes great healthcare requires both clinical excellence and genuine human connection.

Tearsia Fadeley
Front Desk Coordinator
Tearsia is often one of the first people our patients encounter at Elite Orthopedics and plays an essential role in connecting patients with the care they need.
She assists with scheduling, referrals, records, documentation, patient communication, and coordination between patients, providers, facilities, and other healthcare offices.
What truly stands out is the patience and professionalism she brings to patient communication.
Even when a situation is complicated or a patient is frustrated, Tearsia takes the time to listen, explain what is happening, and help determine the next step.
Her ability to combine kindness with follow-through represents exactly the experience we want patients to have at Elite Orthopedics.
Alexis Bostic, LPN
Clinical Coordinating Nurse
Alexis serves as a central connection between Dr. Stapleton, our patients, and the rest of the clinical team.
She works closely with Dr. Stapleton to coordinate patient care, assist with clinical needs, facilitate communication, and help prevent gaps as patients move through evaluation, treatment, surgery, and follow-up.
Orthopedic care can involve multiple appointments, tests, facilities, and healthcare professionals. Alexis helps bring those pieces together so patients know what comes next and who they can turn to when questions arise.
Her role is ultimately about continuity — making sure the patient stays connected to their care from one step to the next.
Kristen White, RT
Radiologic Technologist
Kristen brings technical skill, patience, and exceptional attention to detail to diagnostic imaging at Elite Orthopedics.
Obtaining excellent orthopedic imaging requires far more than simply taking an X-ray. Kristen works carefully with each patient to achieve the positioning necessary to provide our providers with the clearest and most clinically useful images possible.
She is especially skilled at adapting positioning for patients experiencing pain, limited mobility, injury, or postoperative restrictions.
Kristen understands that the quality of an image can directly influence clinical decision-making. She takes pride in obtaining the detailed views our providers need while maintaining patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
